Kate Ungs has always been intrigued and turned on by fashion. She wanted to study fashion and retail merchandise, however, decided to pursue a different route; sports management.
Kate was determined not to lose sight of her dream owning her own business, so she attended graduate school where she would receive a masters degree in marketing.
After graduating Kate held a number of different jobs where she could never see herself developing a career in. Kate took a part-time job at a little quaint purse boutique in Marion called, PurseNality. This position filled the passion she was lacking from her current full time gig.
Kate loved it so much she decided to part ways with her existing employer to work at PurseNality in a full time store manager role. The owner, Jess Palmersheim, and Kate became very close. Kate shared her dream with Jess in wanting to own her own boutique. When Kate expressed how motivated and determined she was to turn this ‘dream’ into a reality, Jess leveled with Kate and expressed that she wanted to sell her business. Talk about meant to be! Kate’s dream was an arm’s length away.
Kate is now the proud owner of PurseNality of Marion.
