Does it feel like lately fashion has been a blast from the past? When you look at celebrity’s clothes, it looks very familiar.  Well, the ‘80’s are back!  The vibrant colors, daring clothes, and unique overall apparel.  Watch out, this trend IS contagious!

In the May 2010 edition of People, Rihanna is sporting a hot pink dress. The color is nice, vivid, and does wonders for her skin tone.  The dress has a poofed short sleeve that would have been seen in the ‘80’s.  It hits a few inches above the knee, showing the perfect amount of legs.  She’s also wearing edgy black sunglasses to spunk up the dress.  To finish a perfect outfit, you need cute shoes and an AMAZING bag.  Rihanna wears white heels with an oversized white clutch.

People’s September magazine had some great tips on how to pull off your 80’s makeup look. For this edgy look you will want to start with a good base, dab some foundation on your face. For your eyes try purple and burgundy tones, brush either of the colors on lash line, all over eyelids, or just at the outer corners of eye. If you like to be a little risky try pink (works best for green and brown eyes). When you use pink don’t get to close to the lash line-you don’t want your eyes’ to look tired and irritated. All these colors will definitely add spunk to your life!
